Historic moment as Obama sworn in

Barack Obama is sworn in as America's 44th president - and its first African-American leader - in a ceremony in Washington DC watched by millions around the world.

Barack Hussein Obama II (born August 4, 1961) is the forty-fourth and current President of the United States of America. He is the first African American to hold the office.

Who was Abraham Lincoln? Abraham Lincoln was the sixteenth President of the United States.
What's the Lincoln route? He successfully led the country through its greatest internal crisis, the American Civil War, preserving the Union and ending slavery. Assassinated as the war was drawing to a close, Lincoln had been the first Republican elected to the Presidency.
Who was Martin Luther King? Martin Luther King, Jr. was an African American clergyman, activist and prominent leader in the American civil rights movement.
His famous quotation: "I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."
